Okinawa Summer Festival, the Japanese most famous summer festival is back this summer in Second Life! The event was established in 2011 and ever since it takes place annually. This year 50 shops are participating, most of which are either Japanese or Korean. Shops from other Asian countries can also be found.
Asian SL designers are very popular. Many of them have made quite a success and run big stores while others, even though they are so talented, are not well known and run small but really unique shops. Famous, or not, personally, I am very fond of Asian SL designers. Being a Western girl, I find that Asian designers bring something new and different in my SL experience. As such, I definatelly recommend you to visit Okinawa Summer Festival as it's a great opportunity to discover some real treasures!
