P.S. While you are The Vintage Fair sim, remember to wear a low complexity outfit or better a full body alpha. This way you'll avoid lagging, crashing and you'll have a lovely shopping experience!

- The Trunk Show -

Hi everyone!

I have a little bit more free time today so I'm making another post to let you know about a very sweet, new event. :)

The Trunk Show is a bi-monthly event geared towards weddings and romantic celebrations. So, no matter what you're looking for your special day, The Trunk Show has you covered from avatar appearance to home & garden items.

The Trunk Show is brought to you by Pale Girl Productions, best known for big and well known annual events such as The Skin Fair, The Vintage Fair and many more. So taking into consideration this reputable background, I am sure we will see some great releases in this new event!

In fact, I'm really excited as such an event was missing from Second Life. If you follow my blog or flickr, I'm sure you have understood by now, that I'm crazy about romantic clothing and décor, so a wedding themed event is THE event for me! So far, I have had a little sneak peak of some of the exclusive releases and they're stunning. I'm waiting to see a few more and then I'll start making up a few looks to share with you!

I know most people are currently relaxing in hot beaches or are busy visiting new places so they have little time for Second Life. Yet there are still some people who have already celebrated their summer vacation and are back in their daily routine. Working, looking after their family, taking care of their responsibilities and spending some of their free time in Second Life... Yay!

So...! For those of you who are still around and bored, I've got some great news! A really cool event is coming this month to cheer you up!

Thereafter is a Second Life theater, music and sales event celebrating humanity and society in a post-apocalyptic world. Yup, that's right! This is not simply a shopping event! You can see and enjoy so much more here! Some of SL’s most famous creators contribute exclusive items that provide the backdrop for live theater events set in a post-apocalyptic, Shakespearean environment. Some popular live musicians and DJs are scheduled to honor the favored and familiar sounds of a post-apocalyptic world. Sounds interesting, right? I'm definitely curious about it and even though I am have to attend to some , I will definitely attend some of its gigs and blog some its exclusive releases. Highly regarded live musicians and DJs are scheduled to honor the favored and familiar sounds of a post-apocalyptic world.

- Hair Fair 2017 -

Hi everyone!

One of the most popular annual events is here this July. Hair Fair 2017 takes place from 1st to 16th of July. As most of you already know, Hair Fair is a charity event for Wigs for Kids, so the donations will be given to this sacred cause. I copy-pasted the following post from Hair Fair's official blog. Hair Fair 2017 – Sims, Slurls and Styles

Hair Fair will open from 0.01am SLT 1st July and close 11.59pm SLT 16th July.

This is the list of Hair Stores participating in Hair Fair 2017. The list is divided by Sim location. Slurls are included but direct teleporting is not available. To use the slurls once at the location of the event, copy slurl to chat then right click and show on Map. This will give you a beacon to navigate towards. We do hope that you visit all the booths at Hair Fair as every creator has done their best to provide their best for this event.

Donation amounts vary throughout the event, but all items do donate a minimum of 15% to Wigs for Kids. There are also Kiosks for direct donations, and Bandana Booths that donate 100% of all purchases.

There are no FEEs to join the Hair Fair Demo Group. There are also no groups to join for any other incentives to the Fair, do not accept group invites while attending the event, we do not spam invitations to anything.

Each Sim is Named a Hair Colour, and each row has a shutter colour. This may help you with navigation and knowing where you left off when visiting the event, or sharing information with others. All logo boards at the front of each store is named with the Hair Store name, if you have hover-tips active in your viewer settings, this will allow you to mouse over boards to see which is which if textures are slower to rez.

Each sim is divided in half and visibility removed, this means that you will be able to see the sim but not any other avatar on the opposite side. This helps with lag and how much you have to render, so do not panic if you land and cannot find your friends, they are just on the other side of that division. This is also the case at the sim crossings, this helps more so when cam shopping across sims. We have two addition sims for cam shopping, shown in the top left and right of the map.
