It is a truth universally acknowledged, that men & women in possession of intellect & curiosity have always been fascinated by the fantastic.

 

Weather it's fairies, elves, and mermaids or vampires, demons and evil royals, the fantastic, is a genre that flourished from the ancient times and continuous till today. Starting from the Gods & Goddesses of Ancient Greece, moving to the gothic literature of Mary Shelley, Ann Radcliffe & Bram Stoker & finally thinking of contemporary popular culture like Harry Potter, The Lord of The Rings, Once Upon A Time & Game of Thrones, the fantastic & the supernatural intrigue and please the public.

 

Second Life, as a game of virtual reality, can also recreate a world of elven forests, gothic battlefields, & fairy-tale castles. There are numerous locations based on these and many more supernatural & mythological themes.

 

As I said previously in my blog, this month, there are two fantasy-themed events going on: Mystic Realms Faire & Tales of Fantasy: Woodland Creatures. These fairs offer an opportunity for creators to let their imagination inspire them and for the customers to admire their stunning designs.

For this post I picked up a variety of items from both events to create a fantasy look.

Here I am again today with a bunch of new items that I got at Four Seasons Market.

A couple of days ago I showed you some really cute leaves props by Fashiowl Poses, a store that I disovered while visiting the Four Seasons Market. I am such a huge fun of poses with props so naturally I became way too excited when I realized that Fashiowl is also offering this chic and girly Autumn Umbrella which includes a variety of different poses. Here I'm only showing two of them.

My outfit and accessories by Ashmoot are also available at the Four Seasons Market. I'm wearing AW Coll Outfit 09 which you can get as a whole or simply buy some of its componements. The outfit consists of a top, a jacket, a bottom, a pair of socks, boots, sunglasses and a handbag, all of which can also be purchased individually.





 

My Sera skin is the latest release by Chickadee. Chickadee is participating in The Gathering, a fashion event that is opening in October 1st. All skins are inspired by different elements like air, earth, fire and water. The RARE prize (which I'm showing) is a clean version with 3 eyebrow options and a no eyebrow option. This is quick post as I'm a bit busy in real life at the moment.

What I mostly want to show you in this post is my new Patience skin by 7 Deadly s{K}ins. Patience is a new skin line and you can find it at the mainstore available in several versions. My necklace, earrings, bracelets and eyewear, are all by a bunch of different designers and can all be found at the Jewelry Fair. This month I posted many creations from this fair which ends on the 28th. You still have time to visit this fair and grab some awesome jewelry! ;)
