I know most people are currently relaxing in hot beaches or are busy visiting new places so they have little time for Second Life. Yet there are still some people who have already celebrated their summer vacation and are back in their daily routine. Working, looking after their family, taking care of their responsibilities and spending some of their free time in Second Life... Yay!

So...! For those of you who are still around and bored, I've got some great news! A really cool event is coming this month to cheer you up!

Thereafter is a Second Life theater, music and sales event celebrating humanity and society in a post-apocalyptic world. Yup, that's right! This is not simply a shopping event! You can see and enjoy so much more here! Some of SL’s most famous creators contribute exclusive items that provide the backdrop for live theater events set in a post-apocalyptic, Shakespearean environment. Some popular live musicians and DJs are scheduled to honor the favored and familiar sounds of a post-apocalyptic world. Sounds interesting, right? I'm definitely curious about it and even though I am have to attend to some , I will definitely attend some of its gigs and blog some its exclusive releases. Highly regarded live musicians and DJs are scheduled to honor the favored and familiar sounds of a post-apocalyptic world.

The one and only, the most outstanding fantasy event of the year, Fantasy Faire is here!!! It will inspires and astonishes for 10 magical days! As you might know, this is a charity event to benefit Relay for Life. Many talented SL designers offer at least 2 new RFL items and you can also find more of their releases, either new or older.

This year Fantasy Faire consists of 12 carefully designed sims which are worth visiting! You can find the landmarks and see a full list of the designers in each sim in their official website. What's more, you can also find there more information about the challenges and see a list of the bloggers who will present Fantasy Faire to you. The Countdown Room opened yesterday with a new round. Make Me Blush is the special themed round to celebrate 2015. This theme is a litle bit steamy as there are a variety of revealing clothes and adult couple poses offered as exclusives, ideal for your naughty moments. Anyway, I'll try to keep it SFW here for you (at least for this post).

The items I picked up to show you from The Countdown Room are the Satin Collar by ::OXI:: and Make Me Blush by The Wicked Peach. The Satin Collar is available in several color combinations and Make Me Blush includes 2 more blush options.

And... Before I let you guys to go relax, do you notice anything different? Anything new? I'm having elf ears!!!! I was lusting for some fantasy ears for quite some time now and I finally decided to grab some. I'm showing the Steking Ears Season 5 by Mandala. In fact, the box contains not 1 but 3 paris of ears: elf, pixie and human. Can't wait to show them again!

I named this post "Mother Earth" since most of the colors of today's look are earth colors: different shades of brown and green.

 

It's a fantasy look for today and I'm really excited about that as latelyI haven't blogged a lot of fantasy posts. I'm always eager to dress up as a princess, a medieval lady, a warrior or a dark lady. Thus, I was really excited when I saw the new Harbinger corset and skirt by Figment. If the name Figment doesn't ring any bells, maybe The Library does. As you probably already know Dream, the designer of The Library (a well known fantasy and role play store) announced the closing down of her store. I was really sad when I read that as her work is unique! However, soon I cheered up as the closure of The Library is followed by the grand opening of her new store, Figment! Figment makes its debut this month at the current round of We <3 Role-Play with this brilliant corset and skirt set! Dream has already uploaded some teasers on her flickr about Figment's upcoming releases. As you can see, Figment following The Library's theme will offer fantasy and role play creations. :)



 

My new hairstyle, Kiori, by Ayashi is also available at this round of We <3 Role-Play. It's a very long wavy hairstyle and it also includes the spikey tiara you can see at the back. I love really long fantasy hairstyles. Naturally, Kiori holds a special place in my inventory. However, there's also another reason for why I'm so fond of her. Kiori reminds me so much of Galadriel's hairstyle (The Lord of the Rings). She is one of my favorite characters in Tolkien's fiction and I adored her representation in the actual film.

 

My face make-up, Chloe is by {MUA}. This beauty was released last month and I was eager to show it from the moment I got it. However, I didn't get the chance to find an outfit/look to match it with. Finally I got the chance, so here she is! Yay!!!



Last but not least, have a look at my Gianna heels. They're by Fifi & Trixi, a new to me store, that I came to know while visiting Designer Showcase this month. Fifi & Trixi offers a variety of clothes and shoes at Designer Showcase at a discount price. I should note that they are non-fantasy. However, from the first moment I saw Gianna heels, I felt they would match perfectly with a fantasy look. :)

- My Fatal Frame -

 

Hi everyone!

After spending some time showing casual and daily looks, today I decided to return to one of my favorite looks: fantasy and in particular, dark fantasy. :)

Level Up is a fashion event with many designers participants and the theme for this round is survival/horror. The Library is participating with Sae Kimono, available in two versions: black and white. Here I'm showing the white version. Sae Kimono is inspired by a Japanese survival/horror video game: Fatal Frame. Sae is the main antagonist and is here depicted in her bloodstained kimono, white for the sacrifice, with crimson butterflies painted in the blood.



To add a little bit of a more dramatic effect, I'm wearing the Bloom Eyes by Chickadee in Blood color and the Captive Heart Choker by Chaos, Panic, & Disorder. 





As for my oriental nail polish, the Egyptian Eye of Horus slink appliers, I got them for only 10L at the Wash Cart Sale. La Boheme is offering a few more nail polishes in affordable prices at the Wash and you should definately check them out! ;)
